FRANK OCEAN

I can't stop listening to his mixtape; Nostalgia,ULTRA.
2011 is the year of hip-hop and R&B (not that I stopped, or ever will stop, listening to it my whole life, anyway).

Interesting fact, which makes me love Frank Ocean even more; He wrote my favourite track, I Miss You on Beyonce's latest album, 4! Talent, so much talent.

RUNAWAY

You either love him, or you loathe him. Putting all conceitedness and egoism aside, the man is a lyrical genius!

Loving the Phoenix costume (designed by Phillip Lim) and Kanye's loafers.

Yes, yes..relatively old news to all you Kanye-crazed fans, but definitely worth the post, no matter how dated it is.

For what it's worth

I came across this beautiful song after watching Gary Pepper Vintage's behind the scenes video this week, and let me just gush at how amazing the video and everyone involved in it was.  Nicole Warne, Gary Pepper Vintage Store and blog personified; the filmmaker and the photographer did an astounding job. I've never really been too tempted to make a purchase from her store until after watching it. I'm mesmerised by her ethereal beauty and talent for piecing together spectacular child-like outfits.
I even purchased the track used after singing along on my 3rd or 4th watch. Nicole Warne makes me want to move to a seaside town and set up a cute boutique full of vintage treasures a knick knacks. In the meantime, I'll stick with Sydney and cure my sea-change cravings through visits to her blog...

pedestrian

It's just one of those days when all you want to do is sit at home, watch a DVD or two and listen to your ipod whilst curled up in bed for the day.. But instead, you get up early, go to work, have a mediocre day and finish the day off blogging about it.

Now to end the day off with a lullaby by The Gadsdens.

Sweet Dreams xx
