Painting with Pastel

A couple of new nail shades to experiment with.. Quite a contrasting choice if you ask me, but the lime green stood out amongst the pinks and reds. I was originally after a dark grey, but the closest I could find was this ashy brown "You don't know Jacques!" (I'm guessing it's meant to be a French-inspired shade). 

Funnily enough, the lime green was a limited edition Shrek shade, rightfully named "Who the Shrek are you?".  Why OPI decided to release acollection dedicated to Shrek, I'll never know, but they all consist of adorable pastel colours of baby blues and lavenders - definitely worth experimenting with. 

Drop the Tough

Sporting a new harness.. It's amazing how the one piece really changes and toughens up an outfit. You could be wearing a plain T with jeans one day, which is still a favourite outfit of mine (and everyone's), but just add a harness and it honestly looks like you're preparing for battle. In a good way, of course.

Now. Soon! So just this week I decided that the previously considered unattainable may just be attainable. It's going to take a lot of hard work, self-control and slaving away at work for some extra cash (which will be extra challenging as I also have to save up for a Melbourne trip with the girls next month), but alas.. the light at the end of the tunnel will see this wunderkind, or more like all-time holy grail of all things handbag (with the exception of the Birkin), into my arms.

The ultimate challenge begins for the pursuit of the luscious Medium-sized Chanel Classic Flap, Caviar Leather, Silver Hardware piece of perfection starts now.

Everlasting Love: Lace & Crochet

Twenty-Seven Names' creation is the one I've been after for a while now.. but of course, it's sold out! and I've finally gotten a hold of it! If you're after a versatile piece, a crocheted/lace long-sleeved dress is the way to go. It fits the romantic prarie-themed trend Chanel showcased for their SS10 and all you have to do is layer it during Winter with a military-esque parka for the feminine/masculine juxtaposition look, which everyone seems to be sporting at the moment.. In my opinion, it never really goes out of style.  

Some people do it so well...

Clip clop, clip clop.. clop..

It's always good to work towards a goal. By goal, I mean a present for yourself as a reward for the lost hours of sleep, peaking stress levels, bad skin, panic surges, loss of social life... all because of uni.

So thank you uni, my conquering of the last few assessments and exams have gained me some new shoes, or clogs. (I don't even think they're considered shoes).
