Look who's in Town...

Excuse me for a minute while I act like a crazed tween squealing for Justin Bieber (cue vomit). Chuck Bass, primarily known over his actual name, Ed Westwick, is in town for Virgin and his 23rd birthday - stalking has officially begun.
Oh, how I gush for this guy. (after my favourite boy, of course.)

Now some pap photos to swoon over....

(Not sure about the red Chukkas with the suit though.)

Dog Days are /unofficially/ Over!

There's no better feeling than the lifting of the exam burden off your sleep-deprived shoulders and frazzled brain. Well, if you want to nit pick, I may still have a supplementary exam to sit, but that's for me to find out in the days to come; so Until then, FREEDOM! (and the reminiscing of Summer as Sydney continues to freeze over)

Cape Crusading

I do love a good cape and It's never been the best time to be sporting these, (It's currently one of the coldest Sydney Winters I've ever braved!) It's a stylish no-brainer, really. Nothing to wear? Put on the Cape. Coat doesn't match the style of the dress? Put on the Cape. Walking the Dog? Put on the Cape. Freezing? Cape. Fat Day? Cape... Need I apply more reinforcement?

She gets 10/10 for all round perfect execution.

Give me any printed (floral, tribal, digital, check, hounds tooth, striped, polka dotted...) harem or trouser and I will almost certainly love them.

That hair, that face...

Love this girl. Australia's gift to the high-end fashion gods.
I chopped my fringe after her - I may possibly chop my hair now too. (...maybe)

Sex and the City 2

So last night I dragged the boy along with me to watch the Sex and the City 2 movie, which I have to admit wasn't that bad. I wasn't expecting an impressive story line or plot, (you'd probably walk out of the movie if you were), and after the 1st installment, wasn't expecting it to contend with the standard of the TV series' dialogue (cue corny movie puns here) either, but fashion wise, Patricia Field was quite the genius in styling each of the characters.

I really loved how each of the character profiles' personalities, personal tastes and styles were communicated with each of their outfits: Carrie - Edgey; Samantha - Sexy; Charlotte - Pretty yet Proper and Miranda - always a touch of Corporate. Together, they looked eclectic and equally as stylish. Power dressing in its epitome, I say.

Ms Bradshaw, however, won me over in terms appealing to my own personal taste. Most of her outfits were so refreshing.. and the colour palate - outstanding. Below are my favourite looks, which I'll definitely note down for outfit inspiration this Summer.
Doesn't she look amazing. And remember my post on the turban? She'll make anyone sway in favour of it!
