Miroslava, the Yummy Mummy.

Source: tfs

So in my previous post about Miroslava, I mentioned how if I could have free reign over someone's wardrobe, it would be hers? Well, this is still very much the case, even if I'm not dressing for two people. She's absolutely glowing! If only you could bottle up some of the beautiful features you seem to naturally attain while only sporting a baby bump... Motherhood is so amazing isn't it?

There's a reason why she's one of my most favourite style icons.

BUY ME IMMEDIATELY.

If there's only one hair product you can buy this year, make sure its Moroccanoil. I have never felt so strongly about a product in my life, mainly for the reason that I'm not really that type of person who puts a lot of effort in their hair - If it means I get another 30 minutes to sleep in, then so be it. Luckily, my hair's long and pretty easy to maintain.
Sweet Jesus, the moment I opened the bottle of this miracle potion to smell its goodness, I knew I was already sold. I had heard so many people raving about this product, and after my hairdresser friend showed me the bottle I had been in dire search of, I immediately snatched it out of his hand. This product has become an even greater necessity, especially since my recent lightening of hair,
So, to describe it in a nutshell, it's a miracle non-greasy formula perfect for anyone battling with dry or frizzy hair. It instantly makes your hair feel a hundred times healthier and shinier, as well as giving it nice clean fragrance (I really hate the over-powering fake cologne a lot of hair products have). I haven't tried styling my hair with it yet (I only apply the tiniest amount to towel-dried hair), but it's been said to cut blow drying time by 25%!

SO BUY IT, BUY IT NOW - YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

For what it's worth

I came across this beautiful song after watching Gary Pepper Vintage's behind the scenes video this week, and let me just gush at how amazing the video and everyone involved in it was.  Nicole Warne, Gary Pepper Vintage Store and blog personified; the filmmaker and the photographer did an astounding job. I've never really been too tempted to make a purchase from her store until after watching it. I'm mesmerised by her ethereal beauty and talent for piecing together spectacular child-like outfits.
I even purchased the track used after singing along on my 3rd or 4th watch. Nicole Warne makes me want to move to a seaside town and set up a cute boutique full of vintage treasures a knick knacks. In the meantime, I'll stick with Sydney and cure my sea-change cravings through visits to her blog...

They say change is as good as a holiday

What better way to celebrate the official end to exams than to self-indulge. I'm quite notorious for rewarding myself for completing any uni feat, but I thought this time I deserved to finally do to my hair what I've been wanting for a while now.. Balayage; all with thanks to a very talented friend and senior colourist at one of Sydney's most renowned salons, Renya Xydis.

 Subtitled Top

It's a big change, but I really love how it turned out! Now the hard part is being able to maintain it without the ends turning all orange and cheap-lookin; which will bring to my upcoming post - the infamous MoroccanOil test... Stay tuned.

Couture, Darling!

I've never really taken much notice of Dior's couture collections until now. The last few seasons have always been so theatrically themed, with each piece being so directed towards it (ie The S/S09 My Fair Lady-esque collection). I have to admit, I may really love this collection because I adore anything floral; But this collection does floral in a huge way, and not in just using floral prints, Galliano has managed to create individual pieces to actually resemble flowers... Really really spectacular stuff.
I'm particularly marveling at the ombre effects on some of the pieces. Makes you think how technology and computers have actually helped fashion go beyond even more boundaries (with digital fabrications and texture creations etc.).

Wedge-obsessed

I came across these Tony Bianco pre-order wedges yesterday. I'm definitely considering them since Topshop's version sold out so quickly! The only bad news is the August delivery wait.

As you can tell, I'm not really adventurous with my choice of footwear shades.I like to stick to blacks and neutrals. That doesn't necessarily mean that I only have a couple of pairs of shoes though! You can buy any style of shoe in black and neutral versions nowadays (This was honestly not the case last year!). Plus, I think other girls, (i.e. Christine Centenera) pull off enough pairs of statement shoes to satisfy my craving.

New Post = I should be studying.

Why do I always feel the most motivated to update my blog when there's something I should be doing more immediately? I've been enjoying my free time for the past week, basically choosing to do anything but blog, however, as soon I received a notification of approval to sit an exam I applied for, I suddenly felt the urge to write a new post? Odd. (Well, not exactly as there's a term for this, and it's called procrastination - a term to which I am too accustomed.)

Enough of my blab. It's been an intense week of spying on Ed Westwick's whereabouts during his Sydney visit. I was lucky enough to lay eyes on him last night (well, more like gaze dreamily at) during his appearance at the city Virgin Mobile store. I've never been so afraid (and irritated) by the squealing and rampage of teen-girls in my life - I'm clearly not as obsessive of Chuck as I thought I was - Photos of this will be up soon!

In the meantime, enjoy these easy breezey street-style pics.
