Mega Montage: Outfits

So this is, by far, my largest post, but I'm feeling generous today and wanted to get my outfit inspirations out into cyberspace; most of which you would have definitely witnessed in other blogs anyway! Let's just say, if I had a gallery of momentous outfits of the past and future few months (and perhaps years!), these would proudly be on display.

With due respect to each of the stylish ladies rocking each outfit, I decided to lop off the heads so that the outfits were the forefront and focal point of the post.

Enjoy!

Basically from sourcing these pictorials, I have concluded these things:
  • I want my Chanel Medium Flap, and I want it NOW!
  • I want to do a DIY on that killer Balenciaga Shirt
  • I want to buy long, loose and structured tops to wear with my flared jeans
  • I wish I had twig legs to rock bright red pants, especially leather ones!
  • CLASSIC IS KING! I feel like going out and splurging on really amazingly made staple pieces, eg. Black, white and the aforementioned, Chanel ;). For now, I'll just raid my Mum's wardrobe (sarcastic yay!).

Retail Therapy

There comes a time (or many) when you just need that little happy purchase to get you through the week..
I think I must have had a tough month.

VAMP

I only just recently started venturing out to different lipstick shades. It's really quite addictive, especially since the extent of my make-up regime merely involves eyeliner, mascara and some blush!
My newest addition is this wine red shade from MAC. It's a bit on the Gothic side, but it's nice and vampy - I think it really goes hand in hand with the cooler months. Givenchy and Zimmermann nailed this look last season, and as stupid as it sounds, I only remembered that I was on the look out for it today (typical me always looking for something to buy).
I'm thinking of offsetting the starkness of the shade with some printed pieces a la Proenza and Zimmermann - nothing like some colour to bring some Spring into Autumn & Winter!

Some Inspiration..

Romantic & Euphoric

This is such a beautiful video. Nice melody, and classic tailoring (my eyes are on the camel suit).
Bassike has always been my go-to for basic Tees and Singlets.

ON A MISSION

...for these Proenza Schouler Cindy Wedge Boots. They're absolutely delicious and tonight I will most probably lose sleep just drooling over and thinking of how many outfits I can make with them. I love the wrap around strap detailing and the flattering shape of the toe. Plus the wedge, oh the wedge - It'll add another few hours of standing time as well!

I know I'm short, but I'm willing to forgo my vertical challenged ways (and legs) for a pair of these suckers. At least it'll add another 4.5 inches and some warmth this Winter :).

Wish me (some major, major) luck on finding a size 36!
